This is what we did on Valentines day. We painted our dinner table. It was really fun and it really freaked out my husband whiach is always a plus and the kids had an awesome time.

If Only The World Could Have A Little Sister

My sister and I are the best of friends, the very best. We did everything together. We even had our first children together. At times growing up we fought like hell, but she was and is the sole person in my life who truly gets me and understands me. I am so happy to have two daughters who are on the way to being just as close with each other as we are. I was scared to have my little girl Emily so close to Riley but its working out. Yes they do fight sometimes but they are always the first one to defend each other if the need arises. It reminds me a lot of Jessica and I. It is so wonderful to watch their relationship grow into one that I know will someday be one of their strongest and most unbreakable.

Every month I will post a photo that really stands out in my mind for the month and here is the first one. This one is with my girls on their sled for the very first time ever. It was a wondeful day with our little family and the first time I had been in real snow since I left Califonia in 2004.

Welcome To My Blog

Welcome Friends. I wanted to get my first post out of the way so here it goes. I am not really sure what this blog will be about, I figure it will mold and shape itself as it grows. Mainly though I will be writing about my adventures in parenthood, things I learn along the way, and my struggle to hold onto myself while raising two little girls, and keeping my marriage strong.
